Come work with us! Salve Regina’s McKillop Library is seeking candidates for Special Programs and Instruction Librarian. The Special Programs and Instruction Librarian collaborates with our fun, committed team and our small, friendly university community to provide information literacy instruction, liaise with academic departments, and develop and publicize innovative programs and displays that showcase research, teaching, and creative activities at the university.

This is a Sunday-Thursday, 35-hour/week, 10-month position (mostly during the academic year, September-May).

To encourage attendance at the NELA Annual Conference. Six grants, no more than one for each New England state, are awarded for the cost of registration and banquet only. No travel expenses are supported. Scholarships are awarded annually as long as funds are available. Applicants must be a NELA member. Applicants are no longer required to be first time attendees to annual conference. Persons who have not previously attended the Annual Conference are given preference, however, we encourage ALL interested parties to apply.

Under the direction of Library Administration, the Youth Services Coordinator assumes responsibility for all aspects of children’s and teen services at the East Providence Public Library. This position supervises all youth services staff including the Teen Services Librarian. The Coordinator is responsible for developing and meeting goals, building community collaborations, and providing high-quality youth services.
