Call for Nominations to Serve on the Coretta Scott King Book Awards Jury

We're looking for interested members of the CSK Community to run for the 2022 & 2023 Coretta Scott King Book Awards Jury. The jury term will begin July 1, 2021 and end June 30, 2023. Attendance at ALA Annual and Midwinter Conferences is required. Nominees must be members of EMIERT. In addition, nominees for the Jury must have experience in the evaluation of children and young adult literature. Self-nominations are welcome.

Those who wish to be considered for candidacy will submit their application packets to the Nominating Committee by Wednesday, October 21, 2019, at 11:59 p.m., Pacific Time (PT), to Dr. Claudette S. McLinn, Chair of the CSK Nominating Committee. Candidates for election whose names will appear on the ballot will be notified by November 15, 2019 and must complete the process by submitting additional information in the ALA election system by December 4, 2019.
