#PLA2022 scholarships are now open! PLA is giving away 15 scholarships to provide financial assistance for public library workers and students to attend the PLA 2022 Conference in Portland, OR, March 23–25. Five conference scholarships will be awarded in each of the three categories: Early-career Library Staff Scholarships, Non-Salaried or Unemployed Library Staff Scholarships, and Library School Student Scholarships.
Each scholarship includes complimentary registration, one year of ALA and PLA membership, and a $500 stipend for travel and housing. The application deadline is Wednesday, December 8, 2021, and awardees will be notified Wednesday, January 5, 2022. Apply now at https://www.placonference.org/general_scholarships.cfm.
