The RILA Conference will be in-person for the first time since 2019 on May 25–26 at Bryant University in Smithfield, and we cannot wait to see you all there! 2022 RILA Conference Registration is open through Tuesday, May 17th for one- or two-day registration with discounted registration for RILA members.
The Conference Committee is thrilled to welcome ALA President-Elect Lessa Kanani’opua Pelayo-Lozada as our President’s Speaker on Wednesday, May 25, and New York Times Bestselling author/illustrator Jarrett Krosoczka as our keynote on Thursday, May 26. Both days will also be packed with exciting sessions from your RI library peers, exhibitor booths, networking opportunities, and plenty of chances to restore, reconnect, and reflect. URI GSLIS's Beta Phi Mu induction ceremony and reception will directly follow the conference on Wednesday. Our school librarian track is on Thursday, with plenty of sessions that will appeal to school, academic and youth services library staff, and general library staff as well.
Because of the recent rise in COVID cases, we are encouraging attendees to ensure that they are up to date with vaccines and/or produce a negative test before they attend. Boxed lunches will be provided to offer flexibility to those who wish to distance or go outside while eating, and we also encourage anyone to wear a mask (masks will be available as well!).
Visit the 2022 RILA Conference webpage to view the daily schedules and register today!
